Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Research Manager to lead our research initiatives. In this role, you will oversee research projects, manage a team of analysts, and ensure the delivery of high-quality insights that meet client needs and expectations.

The primary focus will be on the markets of India, UAE, Oman, and KSA, with a secondary emphasis on the wider GCC region. An analytical mindset and a passion for data will be essential in shaping our strategic insights and positioning us as thought leaders in the industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regional real estate markets and at least five years of experience in a research capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research Strategy Development:
    • Collaborate with partners in the UAE, GCC, and India to create and implement a location-wise research strategy that addresses the specific needs of each market.
    • Identify key trends and areas of opportunity within the real estate sector in those regions.
  • Team Building and Management:
    • Attract and retain top talent to build a team of subject matter experts in real estate research and analysis.
    • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on high-quality research outputs.
  • Market Research:
    • Conduct comprehensive quantitative and qualitative market research to inform strategic decision-making.
    • Utilize various research methodologies to gather relevant data and insights.
  • Thought Leadership and Content Creation:
    • Establish Reliant Consultancy Group as a regional authority by producing whitepapers, market reports, and presentations.
    • Create high-quality, relevant content that highlights market insights and positions the firm as a thought leader in the industry.
  • Spokesperson Role:
    • Serve as the regional spokesperson for the company, actively participating in events and responding to media inquiries.
    • Represent the firm in press interviews, showcasing expertise and insights.
  • Presentation of Findings:
    • Present research findings to internal stakeholders and external clients, ensuring clarity and actionable insights.
    • Tailor presentations to meet the needs of different audiences, from executives to operational teams.
  • Data Management:
    • Develop and maintain various datasets relevant to real estate market analysis.
    • Perform regular data audits to ensure the highest standards of data quality and accuracy.
  • Data Analysis:
    • Analyze proprietary and third-party real estate market data on a regular basis to identify trends and insights.
    • Translate complex data analyses into actionable recommendations for the company and its clients.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration:
    • Work collaboratively with team members across the organization to address their research needs and support their initiatives.
    • Contribute to RFP submissions and technical bid packages with relevant market insights.
  • Client Engagement:
    • Attend client meetings and prepare written market materials as needed to support discussions and decision-making.
    • Assist in creating analytical and thought leadership commentary for various publications and platforms.
  • Competitor Analysis:
    • Monitor and assess the research capabilities and activities of local market competitors to identify strengths and weaknesses.
    • Use competitive insights to refine the company’s research strategy and offerings.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in real estate, economics, finance, or business.
  • Minimum 5-7 years’ real estate experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong verbal communication and numerical skills.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Strong team player with the ability to build relationships.
  • Clear and logical thinker with well-developed report writing skills.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Commitment and determination to investigate thoroughly and seek out information necessary for the accurate valuation of property.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules to ensure successful and timely delivery of projects.
  • Understanding of regional business culture and regulations.
  • The ability to understand and make use of computers and information technology (Reliant Consultancy internal systems).
  • Travel: Flexible attitude towards travelling.
  • UAE Driver’s license.
