Role Overview: We are seeking a driven and ambitious General Manager for our Valuation Advisory division in Gurugram. In this pivotal role, you will lead our valuation team, ensuring exceptional service delivery and strategic growth while fostering relationships with our prestigious clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the Valuation Advisory team, ensuring high standards of quality and compliance in service delivery.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to grow the valuation advisory business and enhance service offerings.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, delivering tailored advisory solutions that meet their unique needs.
  • Supervise complex valuation projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
  • Analyze market trends and provide insights that support client decision-making and portfolio management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align valuation services with broader company goals.
  • Mentor and develop team members, promoting a culture of collaboration and professional growth.
  • Drive business development efforts to identify and capitalize on new opportunities in the market.
  • Execution of studies including, but not limited to, feasibility, location consulting, best use, technical due diligence, and valuation.
  • Understand and clearly outline the objectives of the clients' requirements and assignments.
  • Strategize the work for quality and timely delivery.
  • Identify innovative solutions and develop report structures accordingly.
  • Undertake research into specific industry sectors, markets, and competitors.
  • Deliver good quality analysis for market data as well as financial analysis.
  • Co-ordinate with consulting team members across regions for Pan-India assignments.
  • Manage and track database and productivity metrics.
  • Act as a trainer and mentor for subordinate team members.
  • Manage Pan-India assignments.
  • Build and manage client relationships.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in real estate, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in valuation advisory, with a strong track record in a managerial role.
  • In-depth knowledge of valuation methodologies, market dynamics, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships and manage a team effectively.
  • Experience in business development and strategic planning.
  • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., Registered Valuer, IBBI OR MRICS) are advantageous.
