Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with creative teams to understand the vision, theme, and mood of each music project.
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished and visually appealing videos, ensuring the seamless integration of visual and auditory elements.
- Enhance videos with appropriate transitions, effects, graphics, and animations, maintaining a strong visual identity.
- Trim and rearrange video content to achieve a fluid and engaging narrative flow.
- Ensure that videos align with brand guidelines and meet the highest standards of quality.
- Edit and synchronize audio tracks to video footage, ensuring impeccable audio-visual synchronization.
- Experiment with different styles and techniques to enhance the visual impact of the videos.
- Manage and organize video assets, maintaining an efficient workflow throughout the editing process.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely delivery of video content for various platforms.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in video editing software and techniques.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 0.6 – 3 year of professional experience as a Video Editor, preferably in the music or entertainment industry.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and rhythm to create engaging narratives.
- Demonstrated ability to edit to music and synchronize audio and video effectively.
- Knowledge of video formats, codecs, resolutions, and aspect ratios for various platforms.
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail, composition, and aesthetics.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- A portfolio showcasing a diverse range of video editing projects and styles.
